Lizzie Effinger is a 25 year-old girl living in southern California who has battled (and beat!) cancer from 2010-2013, and again in 2015. Now she is learning to live with Chronic Graft vs Host Disease, as she strives to be a testimony of God's goodness, a good steward of her health with nutrition, and ultimately thrive.
In this episode we hear the story behind her two-fold battle with cancer, as well as the many perspectives she can provide on suffering, depression, gratitude, and joy. It is an episode that we all need to hear, and you don't want to miss it!
